HDA in the News Again

Just in case you missed it or don’t already follow us on Facebook, Rick was interviewed by the Denton Record-Chronicle here in Texas about the HDA’s progress in legalizing hobby distilling. We’ve already reported most of the information that was contained in the article in posts to our website over the past few months, but you can read the entire article here. Hopefully, this will bring our cause and progress to a wider audience and gain additional support.

Who’s Ready For More Action?

One takeaway from the latest article is understanding that where we’re at now is finding a senator who will drop our bill. Rick is still encouraging our local senator, Sen. John Cornyn, to be the one to take the lead, but other HDA members are welcome to suggest it to their local senators as well. To make it easier on you, we’ve put together a letter template that you can download, edit and send to your senator to request them to sponsor the bill.
